Qinshang Optoelectronics' new LED street light passed the NYDOT test evaluation and was put on the battle.
Recently, after the internal evaluation of the New York Transit Authority (NYDOT), Dioshang Optoelectronics four sets of Cobra Head LED Street Lights (KS-8328/112T4) were installed on the New York Intercontinental Expressway 495 (Long Island Expressway).
In March 2009, 8328 series LED street lamps were successfully developed. The luminaire design adopts advanced concepts to meet the requirements of future road lighting standards and adopts standard luminaire structure. The New York Intercontinental Expressway 495 (Long Island Expressway) is the main road connecting New York and Long Island. It is 24 hours a day and has a very high traffic flow. The New York Transit Authority will conduct a four-month online evaluation of these street lights, while waiting for the US federal government to provide bond funding support for the city's LED streetlight engineering transformation, and will launch a larger test and application once the funds are in place. Qinshang Optoelectronics believes that the 8328 series of LED street lights have excellent performance, and it is these advanced technologies and concepts that have attracted the attention of the New York Transit Authority.
