LED lights save more than seven percent energy saving from the parking lot
According to the statistics of relevant institutions, nearly one-fifth of the total electricity consumption in the world is used for lighting purposes, and the energy consumption is not huge. In consideration of energy conservation and emission reduction, Taipei City, Taiwan Province is embarking on the promotion of the "LED Street Lights and Parking Lot Intelligent Lighting Management System" plan, and the three underground parking lots in the area as a promotion model for comprehensive renovation. The new energy-saving lighting management system will integrate mature communication technology and sensing network technology to make lighting equipment smart. For example, sensors with different functions detect the light changes in the parking environment and automatically adjust to the appropriate lighting intensity. Once a vehicle enters or exits, the corresponding light on the route will be appropriately enhanced to ensure safety, and when the vehicle passes, it can automatically return to the energy-saving lighting state.
If you use the LED lamp with better energy-saving effect instead of the traditional incandescent lamp, you can save more than 70% of the electricity consumption. In the future, if this technology can be extended to the parking lot and street lighting system in Taiwan Province, it is expected to reduce electricity by 1.7 billion kWh per year.
In addition, the technology can also provide equipment maintenance information, and the power line communication technology (PLC) transmits the use status of the power equipment. Once a certain lighting equipment is detected to be faulty, the relevant department can be promptly prompted to effectively avoid manual inspection. The resulting delay is fixed.
