Henan invests 23 billion to solve the problem of low pressure in rural areas

It was learned from the provincial power company on February 24 that the company plans to invest 23 billion yuan in the planning and upgrading of rural power grids in the province for five years to promote the upgrade of the rural power grid network and improve the distribution network power supply capacity and power supply quality. Among them, the renovation of the new rural network in 2010 that started in November last year is nearing completion.

On November 16, 2010, according to the national unified deployment, the provincial power company formally launched a new round of rural power network transformation and upgrading project, and decided to invest 1.3 billion yuan to carry out comprehensive low-voltage governance. Up to now, 20,000 low-voltage stations have been treated and more than 800,000 rural residents have used reliable electricity.

According to the implementation plan of the new round of rural power grid upgrading project, between 2010 and 2015, the provincial power company plans to invest 23 billion yuan in the planning and upgrading of rural power grids, and build or renovate 170 35-kilovolt transformer substations. With a capacity of 7.07 million kVA, it will construct or renovate 50,000 units in the 10 kV station area and build or transform 44,000 kilometers of low-voltage lines. By the end of 2015, the 110-kilovolt power grid will basically eliminate problems such as weak contact with the main network and power supply, and the 35 kilovolt and 10 kilovolt power grids will be completely transformed to basically eliminate the overload problem. Rural power supply reliability rate will reach 99.7%, and the comprehensive voltage pass rate will reach 98.5%.

"It is expected that by 2013, the low-voltage problem in Henan will be basically solved, and the quality of electricity for rural residents in the province will be comprehensively improved," said the person in charge of the provincial power company.
