Due to the poor demand for LCD TV panel backlights, Jingdian's July revenue fell to 1.458 billion yuan, and operations in August may continue to go down. Jingdian expects Q3 revenue to fall 10% to 20%, and this year's earnings per share is estimated at 4 yuan.
In terms of gross profit, Jingdian said that the demand for TV backlight is still sluggish in the near future, the order visibility is low, and the utilization rate of Q3 capacity has also dropped from 100% in the previous quarter to 70%-80%. Therefore, the difficulty in maintaining gross profit margin is expected to increase this season. Gross profit margin will decline slightly.
The focus of the crystal power will be transferred to the lighting, and has already cooperated with many international lighting manufacturers. In the future, the lighting will be the priority. Jingdian has several joint ventures in the mainland, which will expand cooperation with mainland lighting manufacturers to attack the mainland lighting market. In the first half of the year, lighting products accounted for about 20% to 25% of the revenue of Jingdian, and the target will gradually increase to 30%.
