"Yore VR" Adds Hunting Function to HTCVive
Tectonic VR launched the medieval sandbox game "Yore VR" on Steam Early Access to support HTC Vive. "Yore VR" allows players to create their own ancient village in the woods. This week, the studio introduced several updates, added improvements and fixes, including deer hunting.
No need to spend a lot of time on cutting wood, players can now choose to carry a weapon (bow or bow) to the deer in the forest hunting forest. Each different weapon has different damage, and the player needs multiple hits to successfully hunt. Tectonic VR Studio also plans to include specific hunting areas in future updates. In the hunting area, the player's weapon damage can be increased and the animal's movement can be blocked.
In addition to the hunting addition, the new update includes the option to harvest meat from the killed deer. This is only a basic option, and future updates will be expanded by implementing skinning and organs.
There is also a reputation system for hunting-related content. The player's hunting behavior will affect the animal's friendliness. When the player does not choose to hunt but is friendly with the deer, they will find the animals more friendly and close. Conversely, as the number of gamers hunting increases, the deer will also increase their vigilance and increase the player's difficulty in hunting.
