1. Ambient temperature significantly affects the lifespan of the inverter. For every 10°C increase, the service life is reduced by half. Therefore, it's crucial to manage ambient temperature and ensure proper heat dissipation for the inverter. 2. Correct wiring and parameter configuration are essential. Always read the manual thoroughly before installation to understand how to use, install, and set up the inverter properly. After installation, make sure to configure the parameters accurately based on your specific application. 3. Pay attention to the relationship between motor speed and head. Choosing the right motor and its optimal operating range is important. If the inverter runs below 5Hz for extended periods, motor overheating can become a serious issue. 4. V/f control is a constant torque method, while vector control enhances the motor's output torque proportionally to the square of the voltage. This helps improve torque at low speeds, making it more efficient for certain applications. 5. When using power frequency or variable frequency mode, ensure reliable interlocking between the two outputs. The pump should be stopped first, then both power frequency and frequency conversion systems should be turned off before operating the contactor. Due to the time required for contactor arc extinction and possible sticking, the sequence and timing of switching must be carefully considered. 6. External control signal failures often occur due to incorrect signal modes, wrong terminal connections, improper parameter settings, or issues with the external signal itself. Regular checks and verification are necessary to avoid such problems. 7. Overcurrent trips protect the inverter, while overload trips protect the motor. Sometimes the inverter has a higher capacity than the motor, so it may not trip during motor overload. In such cases, the inverter’s internal thermal protection function handles overload. Make sure to set the current take-up ratio (motor rated current over inverter rated current) correctly to ensure accurate protection. 8. Interference can cause various issues. Here are some solutions: (1) Ensure good grounding. High-power systems like motors should be reliably grounded via a connection bus. The control system should have an independent ground with resistance under 1 Ω. Sensors and I/O interfaces should be connected to the control ground. (2) Add EMI filters, common-mode inductors, and high-frequency magnetic rings to input power supplies to reduce interference. (3) Installing EMI filters on the inverter input suppresses conducted interference. Input AC and DC reactors improve power factor and reduce harmonics. When the distance between the motor and inverter exceeds 100 meters, an AC output reactor should be added to prevent leakage currents caused by wire distribution parameters.
