Economical Outdoor Product Portfolio, Illuminating the Garden

The OSRAM Opto Semiconductors Duris S product family has expanded with the introduction of new outdoor LEDs. These advanced components combine superior quality and long-lasting durability, offering an efficient consumer-grade outdoor lighting solution that complements Osram’s existing high-performance LED range designed for professional outdoor use. The Duris S5, S8, and S10 models are specifically tailored for residential lighting, high-ceiling applications, and floodlighting, enabling Osram to deliver cost-effective solutions that meet a wide array of customer needs.

Engineered with high-quality epoxy packaging and silver leadframe technology, these new Duris S outdoor LEDs maintain exceptional performance even in extreme weather conditions. Their varied package sizes ensure flexibility to suit different lighting requirements. The Duris S5 outdoor package measures 3.0 x 3.0 x 0.6 mm with a typical output power of 1 W, while the S8 model features a 5.0 x 5.0 x 0.7 mm size and delivers 3–6 W. The larger S10 package, measuring 7.0 x 7.0 x 0.7 mm, provides an output of 8–12 W. With their compact design and high lumen output, these LEDs give lighting designers significant freedom in selecting the ideal product for their specific applications.

Thanks to the premium materials used, the outdoor version of the Duris S series boasts a service life of up to 50,000 hours and exhibits excellent resistance to corrosion. Like all other members of the Duris S family, these LEDs offer outstanding light efficiency, brightness, and color accuracy. They are well-suited for applications such as parking lot lighting, security lights, and garden illumination.
