On the evening of December 22nd, the 2017 High-tech LED Golden Globe Awards Ceremony, hosted by Gaogong LED and titled "Landwell Lighting," was held at the Shenzhen Baoan Dunxi International Hotel. Industry professionals gathered to celebrate the year’s most outstanding achievements in the LED sector, marking a memorable event in the industry calendar.
The 2017 High-tech LED Golden Globe Awards were themed around “A Company, A Master Craftsman, and A 'Heart'.†Since the registration opened in early November, over 130 companies across the LED supply chain participated, including businesses from the materials, equipment, chip, packaging, and lighting sectors.
The awards covered several categories, such as Annual Innovation Product, Annual Innovation Technology, Annual Supply Chain Customer Trust Brand, Annual Best Operator Manager, Annual Investment Value Enterprise, and Annual LED Lighting Good Product.
Among the winners, Jingke Electronics received the Golden Globe Award for its innovative product: the 40W high color consistency COB package. This new product represents a significant step forward in COB technology.
One of the challenges in white light packaging is the difference in light intensity between the center and the edges of the blue light wafer. Ideally, if phosphor powder could be evenly coated, a uniform light source would be achieved. However, due to the rectangular shape of the blue light wafer and the difficulty in controlling the phosphor colloid during the coating process, this ideal state is hard to reach in practice.
After years of research and development, Jingke Electronics has successfully overcome this challenge, launching a COB light source with high color consistency. Not only does it deliver excellent performance in the far field, but it also maintains consistent color in the near field.
According to reports, the new product was completed in May this year and is already being used in high-end lighting applications. It has received positive feedback from customers, highlighting its reliability and performance.
