Ring, an intelligent security control startup, has recently launched a range of new products designed to enhance home safety and convenience. Among the latest releases are the next-generation Stick Up Cam and the upgraded Stick Up Cam Elite, along with new smart LED lights acquired through the purchase of Mr. Beams.
The new Stick Up Cam features a weatherproof design that allows it to be used both indoors and outdoors. It comes with a rechargeable battery, enabling wireless operation and offering 1080p HD video quality. The camera includes built-in speakers and a microphone for two-way audio communication. Additionally, it uses passive infrared motion detection to alert users to any movement. For existing owners of the previous model, the new Stick Up Cam also supports the same solar panels, making it easy to upgrade without additional hardware.
The Stick Up Cam Elite has received significant upgrades, including Power over Ethernet (PoE) or wall outlet support, as well as both wired and wireless connectivity options. This means the device can be powered through an Ethernet connection, eliminating the need for manual charging and ensuring uninterrupted operation even during power outages.
In addition to the cameras, Ring has introduced new energy-efficient smart LED lights following the acquisition of Mr. Beams. These lights are ideal for use in hallways, stairwells, or as spotlights. They are easy to install and can be integrated with Ring’s security cameras or video doorbells to create a more secure and convenient living environment. For instance, when the infrared sensor on the security camera detects movement near the front door, the LED light will automatically turn on, providing added visibility and deterrence.
Ring also announced that its Ring Alarm home security system will be available for shipping in the first quarter of 2018, further expanding its product lineup and offering users a comprehensive smart home security solution. With these new innovations, Ring continues to lead the way in intelligent home security, making it easier than ever for users to protect their homes and stay connected.
