Panasonic's OLED lighting launches residential organic EL lighting products

Panasonic OLED Lighting (PIOL) has exhibited an organic EL illuminating panel product group for residential use development. It also discloses a design similar to a Japanese-style room, like a wooden paper window, and a washbasin. Design and so on. PIOL's products are in addition to the company's 10cm square organic EL lighting board "100×100 series" which was launched in November 2012. According to reports, the product color temperature includes 3000K, 4000K and 5000K, and the product with color temperature of 5000K has not yet been determined.

The lighting efficiency of the above lighting panels is 30 lm/W, including the product line already on the market. The brightness is 3000 cd/m2 and the lifetime (LT70) is 10,000 hours. PIOL said that the panel that will be available in the spring of 2013 "just changed shape."

PIOL plans to introduce higher performance products for the 2015 and 2018 product lines. Specifically, it is scheduled to launch a luminous efficiency of 100 lm/W, a brightness of 5000 cd/m2, and a lifetime (LT70) of 20,000 hours. In 2018, the product has a luminous efficiency of 130 lm/W, a brightness of 5000 cd/m2, and a life expectancy (LT70) of 40,000 hours.
