There are 12,796 street lamps in Chikan District and 60 million yuan in budgetary renovation. The bidding for the LED street lamp energy-saving renovation service in Chikan District has been opened on June 14th, and the design of the scheme, procurement and installation of LED lamps will be completed by the end of August.
At the end of last year, Zhanjiang City held a meeting to complete the task of LED public lighting renovation in the city by the end of 2014. If the amount of electricity saved is converted into the amount of coal needed for power generation in a thermal power plant and the amount of greenhouse gases released by a thermal power plant, after the project is implemented, it can save 12,872.72 tons of standard coal, reduce carbon dioxide by 32,071.46 tons, and reduce sulfur dioxide emissions. 967.29 tons.
