Samsung launches VR education project Eduthon in Germany

VR is undoubtedly a good choice if you want people to experience experiences that are not normally accessible. Samsung Germany and German textbook publisher Cornelsen have reached a cooperation agreement to advance this concept into the classroom.

The two companies have recently demonstrated a VR education system called VR Eduthon. The program is designed for students in the 7th and 9th grades and currently covers biology classes. They hope to optimize the student's learning environment, and Samsung is ensuring that teachers, e-learning method experts and other experts are involved in the design.

Samsung recently created a demo that allows users to experience it themselves. The experience requires two users to work at the same time, one person using a tablet and the other wearing a Gear VR. The head user will see the names of different organs around them. When they look at one of them, the head will play an animated demo and basic information, so that the user can understand that the organ will play when we eat. What kind of role? At the same time, more information will be presented on another person's tablet.

We may not like to see someone's organs in VR, especially when eating. But the 10th grade student Anantasi didn't think so. She said: "It's cool to learn biology through Gear VR, and it's a new experience. I have never tried something like this. I feel it is easier to learn. More interesting. Most importantly, I can easily understand and remember this knowledge. I hope to use VR in class as soon as possible."

Both Samsung and Cornelsen stated that they intend to continue to cooperate and carry out other educational VR projects.
