Smart home single product is actually a relative name to the smart home system. Most of the time, everyone calls it smart hardware. But smart hardware is actually a very broad concept. In my opinion, it can include smart home items, wearable devices, car networking products, smart medical products, smart industrial products, smart agricultural products, smart education products, and intelligent robots. Wait. For the areas of daily living and working life that we are most concerned about, include smart home items, wearable devices, and car networking products.

On March 18th, 2014, at the invitation of IC Coffee and Beijing Maker Headquarters, a lecture named “Finding the Status and Trends of China's Nest-Smart Home Venture Capital Investment” was held in the cafe of Beijing Maker Headquarters. The venue was full and attracted the attention of many entrepreneurs and investors.

In the speech, I shared my views with entrepreneurs and investors present on the direction of smart home business. The failure rate of smart home business startup is very high. From the start of 2000 to now, it can be said that there are far more failed companies than successful companies. Therefore, it is very important to choose the right direction for starting a business. I gave 10 business directions, except that 9 and 10 are platforms and services. The other 8 are smart home products. In each direction, there are basically more successful samples in China.
