Chinese scientists successfully developed the world's first digital positron emission tomography imager

These studies have comprehensively verified the performance of the instrument, especially confirming the major breakthrough in spatial resolution.

Since 2001, Xie Qingguo ’s team of 13 disciplines, including medical, engineering, and science, have invented a “multi-voltage threshold sampling method”, which has successfully obtained sufficient information and accurately obtained the “signal” to be measured. , To achieve accurate image reconstruction, and then through the collaborative innovation of learning, research and production, completed the entire R & D process from the discovery of digital PET theory, to the industrial production of key detectors, to commercial machine assembly and animal imaging experiments.
