Texas Instruments Launches World's Smallest Duplex Half-Duplex (HDX) RFID Mini Repeater

Texas Instruments announced the world's smallest mini-transponder with a half-duplex radio frequency identification (RFID) to help customers embed tags into smaller objects in a wider range of applications. This raises the standard for half-duplex (HDX) transponder technology. The 12mm TRPGR30TGC and TRPGP40TGC glass package mini repeaters are ready-to-install and fully backward compatible with all TI RFID software and readers, including power modules, control modules, and microreaders. The TRPGP40TGC can be programmed according to the ISO 11784/11785 global livestock ID standard, so customers can design compatible products that can be read around the world using a 134.2 kHz ISO-compliant receiver/infrastructure.
